I believe that the overall success of any individual depends on 4 types of skills. First literacy skill, second soft skill, third employability skill and fourth life skill. A person who has literacy skills knows how to read and write, so an educated person is said to be literate. If a person is not literate, he can only work hard, can’t do any official job. Therefore, to be successful, the first requirement is literacy skills. But to be successful in any job some other skills are required like communication skills, presentation skills, interview skills and people management.
If you don’t know how to communicate or don’t speak publicly or you don’t know how to present yourself in an interview or you don’t know how to manage your superiors, juniors and clients, let me know that you Anyhow how can work be successful. End in skills are called soft skills. But unless you have the technical knowledge of whatever job you want to do, literacy and soft skills alone are not enough. For example, if you want to be a successful teacher, your teaching skills need to be better. To be a successful salesperson, you must have salesmanship skills. To be a hit on the internet and social media, you need to have knowledge of digital marketing and your content should be the best. And this type of skill is called employability skill.
But even literacy skills, soft skills and employability skills cannot make you successful unless you lack life skills. Life skills are the most important skills for us. If your life goal is clear and you know how to achieve that goal, if you have emotional intelligence and can manage your own and others’ emotions, you can solve someone’s problem, You are right you have to make a decision, you know how to resolve conflict, and you have leadership qualities, then you have life skills because all these skills are called life skills. And no school and college in the world teaches us these skills. In school, you are only taught to read and write.
